Cycling, recycling, wind turbines, farmers markets, bridges & greenways featured in reusable calendar for the years 2008 ,2036 and 2064!

They've done it again: a network of cycling and recycling advocates (15 non-profits from the UK, US & Canada) has published a new "Cycle & Recycle" wall calendar, reusable in the years 2008, and 2036 when the 2008 calendar comes around again.

Cycle & Recycle is available through the P4P store for $12. Click here to purchase yours today!

Celebrating "the high life on low energy" the 11" X 17" wall calendar features more than 20 remarkable color photos, along with provocative quotes & illustrations. UK, US and Canadian Holidays are listed seperately. Designed by guest editor Reykha Bonilla, the calendar conveys bicycle culture without borders-from the "bicycle-expressways" of Shanghai & Washington, Budapest & Mexico to remote near mystical landscapes of Nicaragua & El Salvador, Uganda & India - also Maine & Minnesota! More so than in past calendars pedal power is front and center; featured are several bike-rigged spinning wheels in Africa & Central America, a "bus-cycle" for 28 passengers in rural America, a chain-wheel ice chipper in Sudan, and even a solar/battery/human powered hybrid of a bike that's capable of speeds twice as fas as the mature, city friendly 15 mph.

"Cycle & Recycle is an example of what non-profits can do and publish by collaborating" says the editor John Dowlin. With more than 3,500 calendars annually. Interestingly, only one of these calendars promotes the careful use & reuse of the world's limited resources.
