CRTPD is a legally registered national non-governmental organization that works in collaboration with rural community-based organizations (CBO's) to implement sustainable solutions for community survival, education and growth.

As a network of rural community-based organizations, we are based in under-served communities that provides a conduit that allows programs to collaborate on appropriate solutions to shared problems and to identify and enhance sustainable dvelopment efforts.

CRTPD was founded with the belief that partnership is a key factor in the renewal and healing of areas plagued by poverty and disease. Committed to enhancing peoples lives and taking them out of poverty, CRTPD works in partnership with community development programs to support the achievement of their goals and objectives by integrating local participation, sustainable community development projects, and program assistance.

Through collaboration based on participatory approaches and the commitment to human rights, we have the opportunity to strengthen ties across the boundaries of bring development down to the people. CRTPD is dedicated to preparing its staff to be culturally sensitive and educated about the goals and objectives of each community, inspiring a sense of good citizenship.
